I am so excited to review these books! The Carole P. Roman’s assorted series were all very good and we really enjoyed reading them. My daughter can’t wait for me to order more books from Carole P. Roman. With that being said, let’s get to the reviews!

Captain No Beard And The Aurora Borealis

This is A Captain No Beard Story Volume 7. The children in the captain no beard stories take their imaginations onto pirating adventures. It’s pretty cute! This story in particular is about a journey to see the aurora borealis but the crewmembers are worried that the captain wants to take something that isn’t his. A lesson on morals is taught on this exciting journey.

Fribbet The Frog And The Tadpoles

This book is my daughter’s favorite in the series. This is A Captain No Beard Story. Poor Fribbet is feeling overwhelmed with all the tadpoles in his house. Parents can really relate to this but so can older siblings. I would suggest this book for children with new or expected babies in their household. It helps kids see that life with little ones is exhausting but can also be fun.

One To Ten Squirrels Bad day

This story is a about a squirrel who is having a tough day. A bunny teaches him how to rate his feelings from one to ten to help him feel better. Other animal friends are there to help by reminding him about other tough times and how they turned out. This book is so sweet and it teaches readers a healthy way to deal with emotions.

If You Were Me and Lived In… Norway

This one is my favorite book from in this review. Carole P. Roman has a large selection of books in the “If You Were Me and Lived In…” series. They teach about what it’s like to live in different countries. This one teaches about Norway’s culture from a child’s perspective. I love how it is written with lots of good information but not too much to overwhelm little readers and it even has pronunciations.

These books are all written well with nice illustrations. I love how there are lessons to be learned in each book. See more of Carole P. Roman books here: https://www.amazon.com/Carole-P-Roman/e/B008ZOXI0W
