Easter is approaching fast and there is so much going on in the world that it is taking my attention away from what’s important. I am so blessed to have a safe and healthy family. At the end of the day, I want to make sure my children know who Jesus is on a personal level. At night before our prayers we have been enjoying reading The Easter Storybook from David C Cook.

This book has 40 short stories that are meant to be read daily. These stories focus on Jesus’s whole life, which is unlike any other Easter book I have read. Each story is written for children to easily understand. Each story includes a bible passage and ends with a relevant question to help reflect and discuss what we read. I love how they are long enough to accurately tell the stories but also short enough to hold my kids attention.

As you can see from the photo above, the stories are well illustrated with beautiful images. They are vibrant and complement the stories well with images of Jesus and other important characters from the Bible.

The Easter Storybook is a family friendly book that is appropriate for any age. It would make a great gift! As a healthy mom, I prefer a good quality book over the traditional overrated candy and toys. Since it doesn’t necessarily focus on the resurrection, this book can be read anytime and throughout the year.
