Whole Wheat Cinnamon Raisin Bagels
Quick and Easy bagels with just a few healthier ingredients.

Servings 6 small-medium
Ingredients
- 1.5 Cups Wheat flour or flour of your choice
- 3/4 Cups Greek yogurt
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 TBSP Maple Syrup
- 1/3 Cup Raisins
- olive oil to coat
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°
- Mix by hand or mixer, all dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
- Mix in remaining wet ingredients then add Raisins.
- With the hook blade or by hand, knead until a ball is formed, about 2 minutes.
- Grease baking sheet or silicone baking mat and your hands with olive oil. .
- Form bagels to your desired size. We used about a handful of dough at a time making 6 bagels.
- Add a little olive oil to the tops of your bagels and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Bigger bagels can take 25 minutes.
- Let cool and enjoy!
Notes
These are more like MINI Bagels because we formed them smaller then store bought ones.
If you want a nice brown shine on them, coat the tops with a thin layer of egg yoke.
The dough is STICKY! Add extra flour if it is too sticky to handle but it will still be pretty sticky.
We greased our hands thoroughly to help keep the dough from sticking and it adds a nice oil coating to to the bagels.

no water soak with these? I’ve not made bagels like this before! I’ll have to try them tomorrow as I have a tub of greek yogurt to use up.
