Chocolate Coconut Mousse

I love chocolate Mousse for dessert! It is such a special treat and so easy to make!

This recipe is made out of canned coconut milk with the cream in it. We found these on sale and I couldn’t wait to make something yummy out of it

Like these ones here.

We topped it off with a layer of whipped coconut cream and cacao nibs but some pieces of shaved chocolate or a cookie on the side would be a sweet idea as well!

We used this collagen for additional health benefits and plain gelatin will work too.

And maple syrup but feel free to use whatever kind of sweetener you enjoy at home.

Chocolate Coconut Mousse

Healthier dessert that is sooo creamy and delicious.
Servings 6 people

Ingredients
  

  • 2 13.5 oz cans of coconut milk with the fat
  • 1 TBSP Collagen or gelatin
  • 1 TBSP Vanilla
  • 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whip with a whisk by hand or with a whisk attachment on a mixer. Mix until the ingredients are well blended and it starts to get thicker.
  • Pour into desired glasses or dishes and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
  • Top with a whipped cream topping (if desired) and Enjoy!
