Bible Breakdowns

Teach Sunday School offers a variety of Bible study tools such as these wonderful Bible Breakdowns!

Reading the Bible can be intimidating and confusing if we don’t understand the context of what we are reading. The Bible Breakdowns are helpful in so many ways but for me, it’s a great place for me to start my Bible studies.

First of all, it gives a great overview of each book. If you want to know more about which topics are included in the following chapters, or the main events happening during that time period, this is a great place to look. I really enjoyed reading the overviews, they were written beautifully and helped me have a better understanding of the text.

Secondly, each page has the time period it was written, the time period it discusses, the author, and more! Isn’t that sweet? I find it incredibly useful to know who wrote it and when, while reading scriptures.

Lastly, it has quick references to verses and even highlights the classic Bible stories! If you are looking for a verse or specific story but your not sure where to look, this gives you an easy way to find it. Simply glance at the short descriptions and find your topic.

These are a perfect addition to any Bible study, Sunday school class, and for a personal reference. I am grateful to have the Bible Breakdowns. My family can use these sheets as a tool to further understand the context of the scriptures we are reading and as a quick guide to finding a passage we are looking for.
