Milk Monster Lactation Cookies
These yummy cookies are made to help increase milk supply. Naturally sweetened with maple syrup and full of galactagogues (ingredients linked to increasing milk production) needed to make these perfect for momma’s but also a healthier treat for the whole family.
First of all, cookies don’t need to be loaded with sugar and butter. These are great for on the go breakfasts because they are just a tad sweet and full of nutrition. Monster cookies can have anything you want or have in the cupboard added. Try raisins, nuts, dried fruits, shredded carrots, chocolate chips, coconut flakes or all the above!
Secondly, lactation food doesn’t have to be gross. Brewers yeast really works wonders but its bitter or kind of strange tasting. That’s why most recipes aren’t that tasty unless you have lots of sugar added. I tried to find a good healthier recipe and was not successful so I had to come up with something.
Lastly, its nice to have an reason to be eating cookies all the time. When you make them to help with your breastfeeding who can judge you? Really though, these are pretty healthy and the whole family can eat them guilt free and get all the nutritional benefits of good quality ingredients.
