When I first started my self-publishing journey, I had one goal: to create books my kids would actually want to use (and maybe give me five minutes of peace). Did I have special tools? Nope. Did anyone teach me design? Also no. Did I make a ton of mistakes? You bet! But I learned, improved, and—after a lot of trial and error—I’ve now published over 100 books.
Not all of them were masterpieces (some will quietly retire one day), but these are the ones that made the cut—our family’s absolute favorites!
