- Green clippings, we used Balsam Fir
- Decorations Bells, Bows, Strings, Dried Fruit, Little Toys…
- String to tie decorations
Instructions
- Step 1: Get a wreath frame. You could purchase one like we have for a fairly resonable price or make your own. (To make your own, you could use wire hangers and bend them to make a frame of your choosing.)
- Step 2: Collect the greens you want for your wreath. We used several pieces of Balsam Fir and clipped them about 10 inches long.
- Step 3: Bunch up your clippings into about 5 pieces or a nice handful and attach it to the frame all in the same direction. Repeat until the frame is full.* Some frames have wires to hold the greens or ties while others you may have to provide your own ties to hold the bunches. You can use twine, string, zip ties, pipe cleaners or wires to help hold your greens to the frame.
- Step 4: Add decorations to make your wreath unique. Some ideas: Fake or Dried berries and fruit, A little bird, Toy train and tracks, Bells, Ornaments, Fake snow, Glitter, Ribbons, Pick a favorite theme or maybe everyone in your family can add something special.
- Step 5: Trim up the edges so it looks perfect or leave it wild like we did. Love it and hang it or give it to someone you love!
