You are probably familiar with the name LeapFrog®, but are you familiar with the new LeapFrog Academy®?
It is an online interactive program and game for children in preschool through 1st grade.
With thousands of activities throughout the program, kids get the freedom to navigate through the make-believe world. Here they begin learning with the games, books, songs, puzzles, and more.
The lessons include a wide variety of subjects and skills from math to art. The program also tracks the progress of each child to make sure they stay properly challenged.
I have a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old and they both have access to the program with their own characters. My 5-year-old likes to change the outfit of her character and then navigate the course by herself. However, my 2-year-old doesn’t have the skills to play by herself so we work on the games and activities together. There are also plenty of great educational videos and songs we like to watch.
As the kids play games, they can win prizes, and get to move around to different paths. I love that they can choose the direction they want to go and the activities that they want to do. It encourages their independence.
Plus my kids enjoy the animated characters and the themes. There are slides, bridges, islands, and balloons for their characters to use to get to new activities.
The program itself worked wonderfully! I got the app added to both of my kid’s Amazon Fire tablets. It didn’t take long to load and didn’t freeze up. It has lots of options but is still very easy to use. Yay!
I really like this program! If you have a child 3-6 years old, the LeapFrog Academy® is worth checking out.
