Today I want to share with you the beautiful children’s book Psalms for my Day published by Christian Focus. We have been reading it together and enjoy the artwork and discussion.

I’m always looking for nice books to read with my kids . I was interested in this book because it is about psalms and I thought it would be perfect for reading at bedtime.

This book is a hardcover with a sturdy bindings and glossy pages. The illustrations are so beautiful! It has bible verses and a translation that is written intelligently. here is an example:

It is a daily devotional for children with a read to me age of 4-6 and a read alone age of 7-11. I read part of the book to my kids as part of our nightly routine. We liked seeing the illustrations and the prayer at the end of the readings . We often had further discussions of what happened and how we can relate.

This book was a great way to introduce and teach Psalms. I think it would be great for children in middle school or older. My kindergartner still has a short attention span and is not ready to read this alone. I am still glad we were able to read this book together and we will read it again when they are a little older.
