I am loving the variety of Elementary Homeschool Courses available with the Ultimate PreK-12 Annual Membership from SchoolhouseTeachers.com.
Here you can find courses for everyone! For the entire family, parents, specific grade levels, unite studies, special needs, and much more. There are many ways to search for materials such as by grades, subjects, and even school boxes.
The school boxes are amazing! They are a full curriculum planned out for a specific grade with all the major subjects. It is all online and so very simple to use. I looked through the curriculum for the 1st grade school box and I am impressed with the topics and content. The weeks are planned out with weekly descriptions and hyperlinks to the materials to easily print and use.
Although I cannot wait to use the curriculum in the school box section, I have been searching for and using more specific topics like Music Theory. My daughters got lap harps for Christmas and I wanted a course to help them read musical notes. I quickly found a class by searching on the SchoolhouseTeachers.com website. I looked under the subject tab and then selected music. I then, went through the classes offered and picked the one I thought was the best fit for our family. Music Theory 1 is our current source for learning the fundamentals of music and terms.
Similar to the music class, I wanted to find Bible studies for my five-year-old. From the website, I went to view by grade and selected kindergarten. Then I looked through all the lessons that were available and found a variety of great materials to use and videos to watch. I highly suggest the Donkey Ollie video series. It’s so cute!
