Healthy Banana Nut Muffins

These healthy muffins are a great start to the morning!

They only took us about 25 minutes to make from start to finish. They were simple enough to bake with kids and tasty enough for everyone to enjoy!

We used muffin liners similar to these here.

I really like that I don’t have to grease muffin tins or pull paper liners off the muffins. Not to mention they’re easy to clean

Healthy Banana Nut Muffins

This is an easy recipe for a tasty and nutritious breakfast. Perfect for when you need to take your breakfast to go but also if you want to take your time and enjoy the morning.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Ripe Bananas
  • 1/2 Cup Apple Sauce
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 TBSP Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 2 Cups Wheat Flour

Topping

  • 1/4 Cup Walnuts
  • 2 TBSP Oatmeal
  • 1 TBSP Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°
  • Step 2: Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and blend them together.
  • Step 3: Fill muffin liners or greased tin to about 75%
  • Step 4: In a separate bowl, add all topping ingredients and mix together.
  • Step 5: Sprinkle the topping bits onto of the muffin dough.
  • Step 6: Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until dough starts to firm up.
  • Step 7: Cool and ENJOY!
