Healthy Banana Nut Muffins
This is an easy recipe for a tasty and nutritious breakfast. Perfect for when you need to take your breakfast to go but also if you want to take your time and enjoy the morning.
- 3 Ripe Bananas
- 1/2 Cup Apple Sauce
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1/2 TBSP Vanilla
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 Cups Wheat Flour
Topping
- 1/4 Cup Walnuts
- 2 TBSP Oatmeal
- 1 TBSP Maple Syrup
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°
Step 2: Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and blend them together.
Step 3: Fill muffin liners or greased tin to about 75%
Step 4: In a separate bowl, add all topping ingredients and mix together.
Step 5: Sprinkle the topping bits onto of the muffin dough.
Step 6: Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until dough starts to firm up.
Step 7: Cool and ENJOY!
