I have been using the HelpTeaching Pro Subscription from HelpTeaching.com to assign tests and worksheets for my daughter.

While HelpTeaching.com offers some free online content, we received the annual pro subscription service that helps educators create or use pre-made tests, worksheets, or lessons for their children.

This is such a fantastic resource for teachers, tutors, and homeschooling parents!

With the pro subscription, we have access to their huge library of questions, videos, and images to assign students work (without ads).

It is super handy to be able to create and administer a test online or save it as a PDF and print it. I enjoy the ease of assigning lessons to be completed online. This way I can save on ink, paper, and the mom guilt of tossing completed work. However, I do appreciate the option to print out the sheets and hand them out so that kids have less screen time and get more handwriting practice.

Searching for lessons

While searching for lessons, I noticed a wide range of subjects and topics available. It was not difficult to find good content. I was able to search for what I wanted to teach by using grade levels, subjects, and manually typing in the search bar. I found and used great science lessons with videos and worksheets as well as topics in social studies. My daughter really enjoyed the videos and was able to tell me what she learned.

I did try out the Test Room. In this section subscribers can manage students (up to 500) and classes, schedule and manage tests or lessons, and browse the test library. I added my daughter as a student. Then created and scheduled a test using pre-made questions that I found within the website.

I believe we both had a great experience with it too! I used the provided link to open the test. She was able to work independently and answer the questions and when she was finished I was immediately able to see the results. See the Picture below.

HT Test

Overall, I am impressed with the tools, resources, and information HelpTeachering.com has to offer. It took some exploring and helpful video tutorials to get a hang of how to create and manage the content, but it is so worth it. I highly recommend it to teachers and homeschoolers of students in k-12 grade. It makes finding, creating, and teaching lessons or tests a breeze!
