I have been wanting to introduce my daughter to audio dramas, so I was excited to receive The Adventum, Volume 1!
In this series, listeners can hear Bible stories in a whole new way!
Similar to biblical movies, plays, and picture books, it dramatizes the stories to give listeners a creative way to imagine the scene with details.
The Adventum offers great voice actors and realistic background sound like bugs, birds, and the fire crackling. This allows listeners to visualize the surroundings as if they were there.
Volume 1 is about 4 hours in length and is made available to listen to on either cd or as an mp3 digital download. It starts from the beginning with creation and ends with Abraham. However, listeners can continue listening to the stories with volumes 2, 3, and 4! 😊
How We Used It
I chose to download our copy of The Adventum, Volume 1, on my phone. We listened to the stories as a family and since it is conveniently on my phone, we were able to listen to the stories during our quiet time and while we worked on our household chores.
It was truly a lovely experience for us to get immersed in biblically-based adventures together. It was so nice that we didn’t want to stop listening!
Who’s It For
I think The Adventum is for anyone looking interested in Christian audio dramas. It’s a fun family-friendly adventure series that is great for all ages. The emotion and effects draw listeners in and keep them entertained.
Each episode is action-packed and still less than 30 minutes long. Making them great for a family break or listening to them during your daily commute.
Each volume is about 4 hours in total. So if you’re going on a road trip, I recommend getting the whole 4 volume set and enjoy the ride!
