Venison Nuggets

This is my absolute favorite food of all time! Go ahead ask my mother. If you have venison give these nuggets a try. These are pretty quick to make and with just a few ingredients. Easy and you will love it!

I used crackers like these, but use your favorite saltines.

Venison Nuggets

Crunchy salty meat morsels that are out of this world delicious!
Course dinner

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 lbs Venison Steak or chops cut into about 1" cubes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour (I used whole wheat)
  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers (I used whole wheat)
  • olive oil as needed for frying

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Mix or whisk eggs in a bowl.
  • Step 2: In a separate bowl add 1 cup of your preferred flour.
  • Step 3: Then, crunch up crackers and place them in an additional bowl .
  • Step 4: Next, warm up your frying pan, with olive oil, on a medium setting.
  • Step 5: As the pan warms up, place about a dozen venison chunks in the flour bowl and coat your meat.
  • Step 6: Then, transfer your pieces to the egg bowl and coat them
  • Step 7: Again, transfer your meat to the cracker crumbs and coat the meat.
  • Step 8: Finally, fry your nuggets for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon or fork and add salt and pepper. Try not to eat them all, sharing is caring 🙂
