Disclosure: I received this complimentary product from the Homeschool Review Crew.

We were really excited to receive the Educator’s Spanish Collection from Whistlefritz!

Whistlefritz uses language immersion to teach kids a foreign language. This means they listen and watch people speaking to make word connections. Similar to how babies learn their first words.

Through songs, puppets, questions and answers, stories, and activities, children are immersed in the Spanish language and can naturally piece together what’s being said. This is an easier method of learning than translating and memorizing individual words.

The Educator’s Spanish Collection Includes:

  • Digital Schedule Guides
  • Lesson Plans
  • 5 DVD’s
  • 4 CD’s
  • Matching Game Card Set

When we received the products, my 6-year-old and 3-year-old were immediately curious and helped open the packages. They couldn’t wait to check out the videos and listen to the songs.

Right away, I downloaded the digital schedule to follow the suggested timeline for the materials as the lids impatiently flipped through the workbook.

We got right into our Spanish class!

The materials are full of bright colors and fun characters that are very attractive to kids. The songs are upbeat and catchy! yes, we get the songs stuck in our heads.

Dancing

Another fun part of this program is the matching game. It includes a deck of cards with pictures and words of things found in our lessons.

We have played the matching game a few times and it helps us to remember the words with a fun hands on approach.

The lesson plans have fun activities with complete instruction. It has scripts for asking the students questions and how to respond in English and Spanish.

Lesson plan

One of the first activities is a balloon coloring craft. Using primary colors, kids learn how to make secondary colors and how to say all them all in Spanish. After we completed this lesson, we tested and continue to test each other on saying color names in Spanish.

Whistlefritz makes learning a new language exciting! It’s a great resource to have if you have younger kids. They also offer a French Collection and additional tools online!
