Venison Sausage Patties

Made with Apple and Maple Syrup for sweet and savory flavors!

Equipment

  • broiler pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Venison Burger
  • 1 lb Pork Sausage
  • 1 apple Cored and chopped into small bits.
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Basil
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Caraway Seeds
  • 3 Tbsp Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine Venison and Pork.

  • Add all remaining ingredients and mix it together until well Incorporated.

  • Form into patties and place on a broiling pan.

  • Broil in oven at 500° for 10 minutes.
    1/2 way cooked
  • Flip patties and broil for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked all the way through.

Notes

Ovens cook differently, please keep an eye on your patties to make sure they are not burning. I used a toaster oven and they are close to the burners but middle rack in the oven should work well.
