Northern GA Candy Roaster (Winter Squash) Bread
This yummy bread is a tad sweet with a crunchy pecan topping. Made with maple syrup, whole wheat flour, and love. Makes 1 loaf.

- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup Oatmeal
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 3 Eggs
- 1-1/2 Cups Squash Puree'
- 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1/2 Cup Pecans
Topping
- 1/2 Cup Pecans
- 1/4 Cup Oatmeal
- 1 TBSP Maple Syrup
- 1 TBSP Oil Olive, Coconut, or Butter
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a mixing bowl, mix together dry ingredients.
Add in the wet ingredients and stir until well combined.
Pour the mixture into a greased bread pan.
In a small bowl, mix all the topping ingredients together.
Sprinkle the topping mixture onto your bread dough.
Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
Cool and Enjoy!
