I am super excited to be using Bible Unearthed from Drive Thru History® Adventures.
I got an amazing opportunity to get early access to this exciting course! It is about the impact archeology has had and still has on uncovering important information of the past. In this 12 part course, students learn about the tools, artifacts, sites and much more through videos, articles, and worksheets.
This is so much fun! At 5 and 2, my kids are a little young to take this course, but we watch the videos together as a family and discuss the materials. My daughter often asks a question and I pause the video and talk about what we are learning. We actually had a great time discussing related biblical stories and new archeological terms.
The videos are entertaining. Archaeology and the Bible are my favorite subjects so I just love this!Three men start off with a question or topic to discuss. Then, after a little silliness, they dig into the content with neat findings, a tour of the site, and how it relates to what’s written in the Bible. Sounds exciting huh? Well, it is for me!
Along with the videos, there are articles and worksheets to expand on the lessons and apply your knowledge. They are packed with information and relevant questions that keep your interest. See the picture below for an example.
I enjoyed this class! It’s perfect for kids middle school aged and up especially if they are interested in archeology. I will definitely revisit this course when my kids are a little older and I need a refresher. Drive Thru History® Adventures offers courses to purchase individually or an All-Access membership. The other courses look pretty neat and based on this class, I highly suggest buying an All-Access membership.
