Super Simple Healthy Halloween Party Snacks

Yes, I like to feed my family good food even on Halloween! Why not have fun and nutritious snack options? Anyway if your struggling for ideas, check these quick and easy snacks.

Mummy Juice box

More of a craft than a recipe but it sure is cute and the kids love helping!

Materials

  • Honest Kids Juice box or your juice preference
  • toilet paper, paper towel or tissue paper
  • google eyes
  • glue

Instructions

  • So simple, Just wrap your juice box in tissue (like a mummy). Add a dab of glue at the start and finish of the tissue. than glue on google eyes! That's it!

Ingredients
  

  • your favorite hummus
  • flat rectangular crackers
  • black icing for writing

Instructions
 

  • You really don't need instructions do you? You can use homemade hummus in a bowl or store bought in a dish. All you do is stick a cracker in it and write RIP with the black icing. Easy Peezy

Cheese Stick Ghost

  • cheese sticks
  • black marker

Instructions

  • LOL ok I'll explain this difficult snack. with your marker draw ghost eyes and mouth. BAM
pumpkin fruit cup

Pumpkin Fruit Cups

Halloween healthy snacks! Whip these suckers up in a couple minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • Organic Fruit Cups with no sugar added
  • Black Marker
  • Green pipe cleaner
  • Hot glue gun with glue

Instructions
 

  • Flip the fruit cups upside down
  • Draw eyes nose and mouth for your pumpkin.
  • Cut the pipe cleaners to about 1/2 inch
  • Add a dab of glue to the top of the pumpkin cup and attach your stem (pipe cleaner)

Notes

The fruit cups have to be clear for this to work or else you will have to paint them orange.

Energy Pumpkins (no pumpkin in it)

Halloween healthy snacks

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 Cup Honey
  • 1 Cup Peanut butter
  • 1 Cup Oatmeal
  • 1/3 Cup Walnuts
  • 1 TBSP Chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/3 Cup Pecans
  • 1/3 Cup Chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients together (except for the pecans and chocolate chips) and mix by spoon or if you are ok with getting messy use your clean hands 🙂
  • Form your pumpkin balls and put them on parchment paper, wax paper, or silicone sheet
  • Decorate your pumpkins anyway you like. Be creative and have fun!

Notes

You could also use green onion for a stem but I don’t think it tastes as good as pecans. 

Deviled Eggs Halloween Style

Quick healthy Halloween treats and snacks

Ingredients
  

  • 1 dozen Eggs
  • 1/3 Cup Guacamole or mayo
  • 1 TBSP Mustard
  • 1 TBSP Paprica
  • 1 green onion cut into 1/2 inch

Instructions
 

  • Boil the eggs for 10-15 minutes
  • Drain and run cold water on the hot eggs
  • When cooled, Peel the eggs, rinse and cut in half.
  • Put the yokes in a bowl add guacamole or mayo and mustard
  • Put a spoonful of the egg yoke mixture back in the egg white.
  • Run your fork over the yoke to make it look like a pumpkin
  • Sprinkle paprika on top and use a piece of green onion for a stem

Notes

If you have olives you can make eye balls or spiders!
