We have been using Family Mixed Martial Arts Videos Preschool Mixed Martial Arts for our homeschool fitness program.

This program offers online videos for young children and families who want to start learning and applying mixed martial arts. Once signed up, users simply log in to the website and play the series of videos from the comfort of their home or the area of their choice. It is a mastery program that progresses at your speed.

The instructor speaks nice and slow for young learners with an uplifting and encouraging attitude. She uses fun props and toys to keep the lesson engaging. My kids love the activity games at the end of each lesson and enjoy practicing the new skills.

The video lessons start with a warm-up that includes 5 slow-paced jumping jacks and squat reaches. My 2 year old gets so excited that she runs to grab a ball grab to do the squat reaches. This is probably her favorite part of the lesson.

After the warm-up, kids learn the new technique by watching the instructions on how to properly perform the technique. Followed by repetitive examples of how to perform the technique with a partner. My 5- year-old likes to practice the new skills with me by hitting a paper. She takes her martial arts seriously.

In addition to learning a technique, children learn about a positive character trait. The instructor defines the trait, uses it in a sentence, and provides an opportunity for kids to come up with an example of the term.

Later, the instructor picks a fun game to play. Sometimes materials are needed to play the game such as a balloon. When I didn’t have a balloon handy the game worked just fine with a ball.

I usually play the videos from my cell phone and prop it up on a desk, but I was able to connect it to the TV here.

In the end, there is a short exercise and review of the technique. My kids like to participate in the exercises because they have a fun theme and are not too long. The review is a recap to make sure that we completely understand the technique.

If you have a young child who is interested in mixed martial arts, then this is a great product for you. It is convenient and the whole family can join in. Read more reviews by clicking HERE.
