my daughter has been having so much fun with one of the project kits for kids from STEAM4KIDZ called the Starry Night Kit.

In this STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) kit, kids get to learn what it takes to become an astronaut or a career in a related field. Using physical products and online teacher-led videos, students complete a variety of fun projects.

The Projects in this kit can be completed in any order. Students can easily pick the project that they want to work on and log in to watch the education and instructional video that accompanies the project. This kit can with everything needed for all the projects including staples, pencils, tape and more!

Cat Astronaut Drawing

Constellation Medallion

My daughter made medallions and learned about star constellations and Greek Mythology.

Build a Rover Robot

This project is suggested to be completed with adult assistance, but my daughter was too excited to wait so she completed it by herself.

It was also her absolute favorite part of the Starry Night Kit!

It’s solar and battery powered and resembles real rovers!

Moon Cookies

We made moon cookies together with the recipe provided in this kit. They felt funny and were a tasty experiment.

Moon Phase Game

In this project, kids make this educational Moon Phase game. We played it few times. The more we play it, the more we are able to identify the moon phases.

Mazes

There were a few sheets of fun space-related mazes to work on along with an educational video for this project.

Moon Torch

It’s a sweet flashlight that displays an image of the moon!

With this project, my daughter learned about the moon’s orbit around the earth and played with this moon torch. It was great for a nighttime activity and we looked at the moon on the ceiling.

My 6-year-old completed all the projects in the Starry Night Kit completely independently, except for the moon cookies that we made together. She was so excited about the projects in this kit that she wanted to work on them every day. It was great to see her excitement so I let her work on them as much as she wanted. However, I think this would be a great opportunity to learn, explore, and craft together as a family.

If you have a child who loves learning with hands-on activities, I highly recommend the Starry Night Kit by STEAM4KIDZ! My daughter loved it so much she wants another one for her birthday.
