waffle with strawberries

Thinking about waffles?

This is my favorite go-to waffle recipe. It’s simple, quick, and makes a perfect waffle ever time.

My grandfather makes great waffles but he really takes the time to prepare and let the dough sit. When I make breakfast, it’s usually on a whim so I don’t have time for that kind of planning.

I love Waffles! These ones are great!

We don’t make waffles to often but when we do we use a vintage commercial restaurant waffle maker. Its really neat, I have never seen another one like it.

It makes some seriously thick waffles, but finding a good recipe that will not stick and will cook nicely through has been a challenge.

This is the best recipe yet! They come out perfectly airy and crispy. It would be a shame not to share. 🙂

Notes

This recipe calls for lots of oil but the coconut oil seeps through and helps make the waffle crispy. Not to mention its full of omega 3 fatty acids so enjoy!
