Peanut butter Chocolate Eggs
Healthy version of the Reese's Peanut butter Eggs. It is so simple with just a few ingredients and you can eat them in about 25 Minutes.
Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Freeze Time 20 minutes mins
- 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 3 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1/2 Tbsp Coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp Chocolate Chips
In a mixing bowl, mix the maple syrup and peanut butter.
On a silicone baking mat, wax paper, or parchment paper; drop a spoonful of your peanut butter mixture in the shape of an egg. Makes about 4 depending on the size you want your eggs to be. Place in refrigerator or freezer to cool down while starting the next step.
In a pan, warm up the coconut oil and chocolate chips on a low heat. Stirring slowly and constantly. Just until it is melted, than immediately turn off the heat. You do not want to burn the chocolate.
Take the Peanut butter Eggs out of the freezer, and cover the eggs with your chocolate mixture. You can drizzle over the PB eggs or pick up your chilled PB eggs and flip them with a fork in the chocolate for complete coverage. Place them back on your nonstick sheet.
Lastly, Freeze your PB Chocolate Eggs until firm or about 20 minutes.
Enjoy!
