Best Dinner Rolls

Holiday season is here and so is all the wonderful food!

These are my go to dinner rolls because they are so easy, pretty quick to make, and nothing beats a nice hot out of the oven roll!

I actually use the same recipe for hamburger buns but I add sesame seeds to the top.

Without talking about all the ingredients and my whole life story on why I like buns, I’ll just get to the recipe.

Best Dinner Rolls / Burger Buns

Nothing beats fresh from the oven buns! Give this easy recipe a try.
Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Course Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tbsp. Yeast 2 0.25 oz. Packets
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 1/3 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1 Egg yoke

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, add yeast, water honey and oil.
  • Gently stir, then let it rest for about 5 minutes. It should get bubbly and foamy.
  • Add 1 egg and flour. Mix and Knead the dough for about 3 minutes. It should be sticky but not to the point where its hard to handle. If its too sticky, Just add a little more flour up to a 1/2 cup.
  • Divide the dough into balls about 1-2" in diameter an place on a Silicone or greased baking sheet.
  • In a separate dish, beat 1 egg yoke and then brush it on top of the rolls.
  • Preheat oven to 425°
  • Cover the rolls with a towel and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  • Add sesame seeds or poppy seeds if desired. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Enjoy!
